The Humanitarian Law Center Kosovo is pleased to invite young artists active in various fields of art to apply to the first call for support of artistic works.
For all those artists who wish to create works that commemorate the victims/events of the war and address a particular issue in transitional justice, we encourage you all to apply to this call, in order to develop different and new artistic forms, by focusing on dealing with the past.
We encourage the artists who apply to take into account the current situation and the conflict in Ukraine in creating works that relate to their memories or reflections on Kosovo's tragic past.
About the project:
DwP Creations is a project supported by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and the National Endowment for Democracy, with the aim of developing new artistic forms that engage in dealing with the past, by supporting artists, writers, journalists and others in the realization of their ideas.
Throughout three years, 6 calls for projects shall be opened for all ethnic groups and communities in Kosovo and in the region. Successful candidates will work closely with HLCK to develop and produce the artwork, where staff will assist them with necessary information and guidance, ensuring factual accuracy of ideas.
The created works will be exhibited in the Documentation Center Kosovo.
